AWS Well-Architected Review
A secure and efficient architecture is the foundation for applications and workloads in the cloud. With the “Well-Architected Review”, AWS has developed a standardized procedure with which productive cloud workloads can be regularly checked. It is based on the five pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework: Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency and Cost Optimization. Based on these 5 pillars, implemented cloud services can be evaluated and legal, technical or company-specific fields of action can be derived.

Classification of the AWARE
The AWARE is not an audit!
It is a Questionnaire to question one’s own environment in a structured and critical way. The results are used to optimize the environment and are available to the team at any time. They can be used as evidence of improvement following a PDCA approach in an audit. The AWARE is not magic!
No all-encompassing knowledge is needed, but the knowledge of each individual from the team. Here, the participants benefit from the individual skills and knowledge of the participants. The AWARE is not a one-time check!
It is a Snapshot. Only repeating the AWARE can generate the maximum added value. The identified potentials should be implemented in the following and reviewed for the next iteration.1
no audit
